A source at the Élysée Palace confirmed that Emmanuel Macron is traveling to Poland with a delegation including the ministers of defense, foreign affairs, and energy, as well as heads of companies from the energy and defense sectors.
The visit will take place one year after the signing of the Nancy Treaty between Warsaw and Paris, which includes a clause on mutual military support in the event of an attack.
No Meeting Planned with Karol Nawrocki
The source indicated that a meeting with Karol Nawrocki is not scheduled during Macron’s visit.
First Visit to Gdańsk, Third to Poland
This will be Macron’s first visit to Gdańsk. He has previously visited Poland twice, in 2020 and 2024, both times at the invitation of President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw.
