Police secured over 133 kilograms of narcotics and three firearms during operations in the Warsaw West County. A 32-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of involvement in large-scale drug trafficking and psychotropic substance distribution.
The suspect has been temporarily arrested for three months by court order.
Operations in Bieniewice Reveal Significant Quantities
This operation represents another significant blow against individuals profiting from drug-related crime. Police actions in Bieniewice, Błonie commune, uncovered substantial amounts of drugs and firearms, indicating potential large-scale distribution.
Searches Uncover Hidden Stashes
During the operation, officers searched the suspect’s apartment, premises, and vehicles. A digital scale and a heat sealer were discovered on the premises.
Further investigation led police to a storage unit and several cars containing additional narcotics and psychotropic substances.
Identification of Substances and Canine Unit Assistance
Some of the seized drugs were preliminarily identified as marijuana and flephedrone. Police also secured three firearms. A police dog was utilized, leading officers to a vehicle containing nearly 123 kilograms of psychotropic substances.
Arrest and Pre-Trial Detention
In total, over 133 kilograms of drugs and firearms were seized. The collected evidence led to charges being filed against the detained man.
The District Court in Grodzisk Mazowiecki granted the prosecution’s request for a three-month pre-trial detention.
