The fire department received the report shortly after midnight, and the first units arrived on scene within minutes. Initial reports indicated that two halls and a portion of the office and social area were ablaze. The halls contained dried vegetables and production machinery, suggesting significant material losses.

Extensive Firefighting Operation

Over 50 fire departments, totaling approximately 250 firefighters, were deployed to the scene, including units from Warsaw West County and support from neighboring counties and Warsaw. Approximately 80 people, including employees and residents of a nearby hostel, were evacuated from the area due to the scale of the threat.

One Firefighter Injured, Air Quality Assessed

One firefighter sustained a lower limb injury during the operation and was transported to a hospital. No other injuries were reported. A specialized chemical rescue team conducted air quality measurements, finding no dangerous substances and confirming no threat to local residents.

Ongoing Operations and Investigation

As of the morning of April 21, firefighters continued to extinguish the remaining embers, pour water on the debris, and dismantle the burned structures. Authorities stated that the operation was complex and time-consuming. The cause of the fire remains under investigation and will be determined after the operation is complete and the site is inspected.
