Man Arrested for Inciting Revenge in Bystrzyca Kłodzka Murder Case

Police have detained a 29-year-old man for online calls to avenge the shooting death of a 26-year-old in Bystrzyca Kłodzka, Poland.

Continued Investigation into Bystrzyca Kłodzka Murder

Police arrested a 29-year-old man who allegedly incited revenge online against Borys B., the suspect in the shooting death of a 26-year-old in Bystrzyca Kłodzka.

The man is accused of recording and publishing videos online promoting hatred, violence, and the murder of Borys B. He faces charges related to publicly calling for a crime and possessing narcotics, and has been detained for two months by court order.

Two-Month Detention for Both Suspects

On Monday, the court also ordered a two-month detention for Borys B., who is accused of intentionally murdering the 26-year-old man. The shooting instructor allegedly fired several shots from an automatic rifle at the victim.

Borys B. has not confessed to the crime, claiming he acted in self-defense. However, prosecutors dispute this claim.

Prosecution Rejects Self-Defense Claim

Prosecutor Mariusz Pindera stated that the prosecution does not believe self-defense applies in this case.

Details of the Incident

Investigators say Borys B. encountered three young men while walking his dog on a Bystrzyca Kłodzka estate. The men were reportedly intoxicated and had previously harassed passersby. A dispute ensued.

Borys B. returned home, left his dog, and retrieved an automatic rifle. He then encountered the three men again, leading to another argument. He fired a warning shot, followed by shots that killed the 26-year-old. The other two men fled but later returned to the scene and reported to the police after sobering up.

Possible Flight Plan?

Prosecutor Pindera initially stated that the shooter turned himself in to the police, but later clarified that he only called a “police acquaintance” to inform them of the incident.

“When police went to his apartment, they stopped him on the stairwell. He had a large sum of money, packed personal belongings, and a passport with him,” the prosecutor said.

Legal Consequences

The suspect had a legal permit to own a firearm and faces a potential life sentence.
