Man Arrested in Warsaw with Hundreds of Grams of ‘Flakka’ Drug

Warsaw police detained a 33-year-old man in the Wola district after discovering a significant quantity of the psychoactive substance known as “flakka.”

Drug Seizure in Wola District

Officers from the Criminal Department of Wola detained a man found in possession of a substantial amount of the psychoactive substance commonly referred to as “flakka.” The 33-year-old was taken into police custody.

Following the gathering of evidence, the suspect was charged with possession of a significant quantity of psychoactive substances, an offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment.

Operational Work Leads to Discovery

Warsaw Wola’s anti-drug crime unit, through operational work, received information suggesting the presence of narcotics in an apartment within the Wola district.

A search of the 33-year-old’s apartment revealed various substances, including several hundred grams of a potent synthetic drug.

Evidence Secured and Analysis Conducted

All substances, along with an electronic scale and cash, were seized for further examination. Laboratory analysis identified one of the substances as a-PVP.

After evidence was compiled, the suspect was formally charged with possession of a significant quantity of psychoactive substances by the Warsaw-Wola District Prosecutor’s Office.

Temporary Arrest and Ongoing Investigation

At the prosecutor’s request, the court ordered the suspect’s temporary arrest for a period of 3 months. The offense carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison.

The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Warsaw-Wola District Prosecutor’s Office.
