A 41-year-old resident of Żyrardów County has been arrested for stealing a car, phone, and jewelry, beating the victim, and dragging him into the forest. He now faces trial for his actions.
Case Details
Two days after the report, police officers from Mszczonow detained a 41-year-old man from Żyrardów County who had stolen a car, phone, and jewelry. The accused beat the victim and then took him to the forest. He will now answer for his actions in court.
Report of the Theft
Several days ago, the duty officer at the Żyrardów County Police Headquarters was informed of a car theft in the county. The report also indicated that the perpetrator had stolen a phone and jewelry. Bruises on the victim’s body suggested he had been severely beaten.
Discovery of the Stolen Car
Two days later (August 14), officers from the Patrol-Intervention Squad at Mszczonow Police Station noticed a suspicious driver on one of the city’s streets alongside a stolen Opel. They stopped the vehicle for inspection. The driver was traveling with a passenger, a 17-year-old, who strongly opposed the officers’ decision. She used vulgar language in public and refused to comply with police instructions. A fine was imposed on her for these violations.
Additional Offenses
The driver of the stolen Opel also faced other charges. The 41-year-old had been operating the vehicle despite a court-imposed lifelong driving ban. As a result, he spent several hours in a police cell. The stolen car was later returned to its owner.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
The perpetrator has already been charged with car theft, breaking into the vehicle, stealing items inside, causing bodily harm to the victim, and driving despite a court-imposed lifelong driving ban while disregarding the authority’s decision to revoke his driving privileges. His further fate will be determined by the court.
