Warsaw police arrest 33-year-old for possessing nearly a kilogram of drugs, cash, and scales; court orders three-month detention.

Arrest Following Domestic Dispute

Police from Warsaw’s Wola district responded to a report of an altercation in an apartment. Officers determined a dispute occurred between a woman and her acquaintance before she fled the scene.

Drug Discovery During Search

Police visited the apartment where the 33-year-old man was located. After initial reluctance to open the door, officers observed him discard a bag through a window, which contained nearly one kilogram of drugs. A subsequent search revealed additional cocaine, 40,000 złoty, 4,000 euro, electronic scales, and mobile phones.

Repeat Offender Status

Police checks confirmed the man has a prior criminal record, including involvement in organized crime and drug smuggling. He was currently wanted to serve a 100-day prison sentence.

Charges and Detention Order

The suspect was charged with possession of large quantities of narcotics as a repeat offender. A court granted a prosecutor’s request for three-month pre-trial detention.
