Manhunt in Łuków as Police Search for Knifeman Who Attacked Two People

Police in Łuków are searching for a man who stabbed two people in separate attacks on Monday evening.

Knife Attack in Łuków

The incident occurred on Monday (January 19) after 6:00 PM on Wyszyńskiego Street in Łuków (Lublin region). A man there attacked a 16-year-old, who suffered a thigh injury and was transported to the hospital. His life is not in danger.

Two hours later on Królik Street, the attacker stabbed a 40-year-old man with a knife. The injured man also went to the hospital.

Police Conducting Manhunt

There is an ongoing manhunt for the knife-wielder in Łuków. In connection with these events, the maximum number of police officers have been engaged in the operations, according to ASP. Marcin Józwik of the KPP in Łuków.

“At this moment, we know who is the perpetrator of these events. We are checking places where this person might be hiding,” Józwik added.
