As the Polish Judges Association ‘Iustitia’, for years we have fought for general elections to the KRS, opposing the rules in force before 2017.
Development of Judicial Self-Government
We also fought for the development of judicial self-government. And now, within the framework of judicial self-government, every judge will be able to vote for their own candidates.
Not Ideal But Positive Step
I am not saying that this is an ideal situation, because it would definitely be better if the president signed the amendment, but it will undoubtedly be a step in the right direction.
