Masked Attack on Kraków Jewelry Store Leaves Employee Struck, Thieves Escape

On Friday 19 December, masked assailants attacked a jewelry shop in Kraków, striking an employee on the head and stealing goods before fleeing on foot.

Attack Description

The assault occurred on Friday, 19 December before 5 p.m. Masked assailants used threatening objects in the store and stole jewelry, according to the Kraków Voivodeship Police. A warning reached the duty officer at 16:44.

Employee Injury

One employee was struck on the head by a bang. Police have not yet determined whether the assailants used a stun gun or fireworks.

Police Investigation

Police are examining surveillance footage and combing the surrounding streets. No arrests have been announced, nor has the value of the stolen jewelry been disclosed.

Robbers’ Escape

After the theft, the attackers fled on foot in an unknown direction, as reported by the Kraków Gazette.
