Mazowsze Drivers Face Increased Traffic Surveillance as New Control Points Launch

Mazowsze has activated new automated traffic control devices, including a RedLight system and a speed camera, to enhance road safety.

RedLight System Activated in Kożuszki-Parcel

Two new automated traffic surveillance devices have been launched in Mazowsze. In Kożuszki-Parcel, on national road DK92, a RedLight system began recording vehicles entering intersections on red light signals. This device logs violation details, including the incident’s sequence, time, and location.

The system in Kożuszki-Parcel, located in Sochaczew County, specifically monitors compliance with traffic signals. It records violations to enable proceedings against vehicle owners, targeting high-risk intersections.

Speed Camera Installed in Goślice

A new speed camera became operational on March 2 at 12:00 in Goślice, Płock County, on national road DK60. The enforces a 50 km/h speed limit, providing constant speed monitoring for vehicles passing through the area.

Expanding Road Safety Measures

Both devices are part of an expansion in automated traffic surveillance. Their aim is to curb the most dangerous violations and improve safety on national roads, particularly in built-up zones. Locations are chosen based on traffic volume, prior incidents, and environmental factors.
