Held at the Ministry of Development and Technology, the meeting—under the banner “Safe Patient”—focused on strategies to bridge the budget deficit within the National Health Fund. It included experts and hospital directors; proposals leaked to the media suggested limit changes for certain services and the cessation of the pilot program “Good Meal in Hospital.” Maria Ochman, chair of the National Health Protection Secretariat of Solidarity, criticized the suggested cuts, noting potential adverse effects on patient care. None of the proposals are yet approved.
