On Tuesday, March 3, at 11:30, authorities received a report of a road traffic accident on national road no. 92 in the village of Płochocin in the Warsaw West County. The collision involved a Mercedes passenger car and a Scania tractor unit with a trailer.
Cause and Damage
The incident occurred on DK92 in Płochocin. According to preliminary findings, while attempting to overtake, the driver of the Mercedes likely hit the trailer of an oncoming truck. Three wheels of the trailer were damaged, and the Mercedes, knocked off course, ended up in a ditch.
Injuries and Response
Five young people were traveling in the passenger car: four men and one woman. One person was injured. After examination and treatment by the Medical Rescue Team, there was no need for hospital transport.
Traffic Management
Police officers were at the scene, determining the details and circumstances of the incident. Traffic on DK92 was being regulated in alternating directions by municipal guards.
