Poland’s defense ministry proposes 21 military-relevant qualifications including truck drivers and tram operators.
New Military Skills Framework
The draft regulation from Poland’s Minister of National Defense outlines agreements for obtaining skills useful in the military, procedures for calculating and paying monetary compensation to conscripts and territorial defense soldiers, and methods for reimbursing associated costs. These measures are now open for public consultation.
21 Updated Qualifications
The project includes 21 updated skills considered useful in the Polish Armed Forces. These encompass qualifications such as driver’s licenses for heavy trucks, buses, and trams; operators of energy equipment; divers; parachutists; medical rescuers; and translators, including sworn translators.
