Missing Man Found After Two-Month Search Following Tip

Polish police located a 37-year-old man after a two-month search, prompted by a tip from a resident of Pruchnik after midnight on Sunday.

Two-Month Disappearance

The 37-year-old was last seen on January 18th and had not returned home or contacted family since. Police from Jarosław and Rzeszów, along with firefighters, participated in the search.

Search Efforts Intensify

On Friday, March 13th, officers searched forest complexes, fields, wells, and abandoned buildings, utilizing quads and drones.

Break in the Case

The breakthrough came after midnight on Sunday when a Pruchnik resident recognized the man from photos published online and alerted the police.

Man Found Intoxicated

Police found the 37-year-old intoxicated. A breathalyzer test revealed an alcohol level of nearly 2.5 per mille in his system. He stated he had been living in a makeshift shelter in the forest between Wola Węgierska and Helusz, leaving it only sporadically.

Family Care and Gratitude

The man was placed in the care of his family. Police thanked everyone involved in the search and the residents of surrounding towns for their information and vigilance.
