Mokotów police dismantled a drug warehouse and arrested a 34-year-old man on Puławska Street, seizing narcotics with a black market value exceeding 1.1 million PLN.
Operational Success in Mokotów
Through effective operational work by the Criminal Department, a drug warehouse was liquidated and a 34-year-old man suspected of possessing significant quantities of narcotics was detained. On the request of the prosecutor, the court has ordered his temporary arrest.
The case resulted from intensive operational-reconnaissance by Mokotów narcotics officers. By analyzing operational information, officers identified the suspect’s methods, storage locations, and transport timings.
Surveillance and Arrest on Puławska Street
Police established that the man utilized a basement in a building on Puławska Street as a drug warehouse. During the operation, officers conducted coordinated surveillance, waiting for the moment the suspect would be in possession of the narcotics.
Officers observed the man arriving by car and carrying packages into the building. After he reappeared and attempted to carry another package out, officers immediately intervened and detained him.
Major Seizure and Legal Consequences
The operation resulted in the seizure of nearly 18 kg of marijuana and approximately 270 grams of cocaine, with a black market value estimated at over 1.1 million PLN. Fire department support was utilized to enter one of the apartments during the search.
The suspect has been charged with possessing significant quantities of narcotics and is currently under a one-month temporary arrest. He faces a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years, with the investigation supervised by the Warsaw Ursynów District Prosecutor’s Office.
