Morning collision on S8 blocks access to Warsaw

The incident was a typical rear‑end crash: a driver in a Dacia rear‑ended a BMW, which pushed the BMW into a VW that subsequently hit an Opel.

Emergency Response

Firefighters and two medical rescue teams responded to the scene.

Medical paramedics confirmed that no one was injured and no individual required hospital transport. Firefighters secured the accident site and contained leaking fluids from the damaged vehicles.

Traffic Impact

The collision blocked two lanes heading toward Mostu Grota. Police later shifted the vehicles onto an emergency lane, which cleared the crossing.

The jam extended beyond the S8, partially affecting the A2 motorway and the S2 route in the affected stretch.
