Motorcycle Collision Leaves Teenager Critically Injured

A 17-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition after a collision with a garbage truck on Kościuszki Street in Sobolew, Poland, on April 14th.

Police Investigate Sobolew Crash

Garwolin police are investigating the circumstances of a road accident that occurred on Kościuszki Street in Sobolew. The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital.

Officers from the Traffic Department and the Garwolin command’s investigative group, under the supervision of the prosecutor, conducted activities at the scene of the accident. The report was received yesterday, April 14th, at 3:39 PM.

Truck Driver Entered Opposite Lane

Preliminary findings indicate that the 43-year-old driver of a Volvo truck entered the opposite lane while merging into traffic, resulting in a head-on collision with an Aprilia motorcycle driven by a 17-year-old.

The unconscious teenager was taken to the hospital with severe injuries. Police determined the Volvo driver was not under the influence of alcohol.

Ongoing Investigation and Safety Appeal

Police in Garwolin are continuing to investigate the exact circumstances and causes of the accident. This is the latest serious incident involving a motorcyclist in the area.
