Motorcyclist Dies in S7 Collision; Air Ambulance Deployed

A 36-year-old motorcyclist died Tuesday at approximately 6:30 PM in a collision with a car on the S7 route near Podole, Grójec County.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident on S7

On Tuesday, April 21st, around 6:30 PM, a tragic accident involving a motorcyclist occurred on the S7 route in Podole, Grójec County. A Volkswagen passenger car and a Suzuki motorcycle collided on the Radom-bound lane.

The 36-year-old motorcyclist underwent resuscitation, but paramedics were unable to save his life.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Firefighters, medical rescue teams, police, and the crew of the Air Ambulance (Ratownik12) are at the scene. The prosecutor, along with police officers, is investigating the exact causes and circumstances of the accident.

Significant Traffic Disruptions

The incident caused major disruptions on the S7 route. According to GDDKiA data, the right lane was blocked from 6:38 PM between the Tarczyn Południe and Głuchów interchanges.

Traffic blockades were implemented, and drivers should expect long delays and difficulties in the opposite lane as well.

Resources Deployed

A total of four fire departments – two from the State Fire Service (JRG) and two from the Volunteer Fire Service (OSP) – as well as medical rescue teams, are involved in the operation. The presence of the LPR helicopter indicates the scale and seriousness of the event.

After the rescue operation and inspection of the accident site, authorities will make decisions regarding the gradual restoration of traffic.
