Motorcyclist Hits Tram in Warsaw’s Aleje Jerozolimskie

A motorcyclist collided with a tram on Warsaw’s Aleje Jerozolimskie near Krucza Street on Tuesday night, causing tram traffic in the direction of Praga to be halted for about an hour.

Collision Details

The incident, involving a motorcyclist and a tram on line 9, occurred around 9:15 PM on September 9th near Krucza Street, heading towards Most Poniatowski. Both vehicles were traveling in the direction of Praga when the motorcycle collided with the tram.

Accident Response

Emergency services, including the fire brigade, medical rescue team, and police departments, were dispatched to the scene. Preliminary medical care revealed that the motorcyclist did not require hospitalization.

Traffic Disruptions

As a result of the incident, tram lines 7, 9, 22, 24, and 25 were temporarily rerouted. Tram lines 7, 22, and 25 were directed through Grójecka and Towarowa, while lines 9 and 24 took a different route via Al. Solidarności and Targowa.
