On the evening of 28 August, at roughly 19:25, a 62‑year‑old rider of a Honda motorcycle lost control on a left‑hand bend of road 561 near Zawidz Kościelny in Sierpc county, veered onto the right side of the carriageway and struck a road barrier, killing him on the spot.

Investigation

Police officers, supervised by a prosecutor and a vehicle‑technology expert, carried out procedural work at the scene. The causes and circumstances of the crash are being clarified.
