Wife Faces Murder Charge

The District Prosecutor’s Office in Siedlce interrogated Elżbieta P., who is alleged to have been charged with murder. Prosecutors claim she was accused of executing the crime by striking the victim with a blunt‑edged tool near the facial area, causing crushing injuries.

Elżbieta admitted guilt but declined to provide further explanations. The District Court in Mińsk Mazowiecki imposed a temporary three‑month detention on her. An autopsy of the deceased male victim is scheduled for Monday.

Investigation of Dariusz P’s Death

On Thursday, 4 December, police discovered the body of 51‑year‑old Dariusz P. with severe injuries at a home in Mrozy, a suburb of Mińsk Mazowiecki.

Dariusz’s wife had fled the scene and avoided contact with family or authorities, prompting a search that led to her arrest the next day in Warsaw’s Wilanów district.

Investigators secured the victim’s apartment, documented the interior and surrounding area, and searched for CCTV footage that might clarify the circumstances. Authorities noted that the deceased was a well‑situated petrol‑station owner with no prior legal disputes.
