Municipalities Granted Extended Deadline for General Plans

Polish municipalities gain two months to prepare general spatial plans under revised recovery fund deadline.

Extended Deadline for General Plans

Latest draft amendments to the Act on Spatial Planning and Land Use Management grant municipalities an additional two months to prepare general spatial plans. This adjustment stems from a change in the settlement deadline for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO).

Funds will flow to municipalities if 50% of them adopt general plans by the end of August this year.

Recovery Fund Condition

The Ministry of Development and Technology (MRiT) justified the extension by referencing the modified KPO settlement timeline.
