Murder Near Warsaw: Prosecution Releases New Information on Bogusław G.

Prosecutors have revealed that Bogusław G. shot and killed his former wife before committing suicide at a cemetery in the Piaseczno district.

Details of the Shooting and Suicide

The prosecution has determined that Bogusław G. entered the apartment rented by his former wife and fired a single shot at her, causing her to die on the scene. The perpetrator then fled to a cemetery in Prażmów, located in the Piaseczno district, where he took his own life.

Assistance Provided to Children

As reported in Gazeta.pl, police found two children at the property. Local authorities have provided them with psychological assistance and foster care.

Investigators stated that autopsies for both the woman and Bogusław G. are scheduled for next week, and the firearm will be sent for ballistic testing to determine its origin. Authorities are also searching the premises occupied by Bogusław G. and the victim.

Previous Conviction for Family Abuse

On September 11, 2023, the Pruszków District Prosecutor’s Office indicted Bogusław G. for the psychological and physical abuse of his wife and two minor children. On November 21, 2024, a court sentenced the man to five months in prison, suspended for a two-year probationary period.

The prosecution noted that no other investigations regarding the family had been conducted, and no reports had been recorded since the conclusion of that proceeding.
