Mysterious Death of 20-Year-Old French Man in Central Warsaw. Police Seek Witnesses

At the night of May 24‑25, a 20‑year‑old French man vanished and was later found dead in Warsaw’s city centre, sparking police investigations and a call for witnesses.

Night Walk Ends in Tragedy

The incident occurred on Jasna 1 street, where the 20‑year‑old Frenchman began his evening walk. He then headed toward the Centrum 03 stop on Marszałkowska.

Officer Małgorzata Gębczyńska reported the man as “very agitated and not wearing a shirt.” He was taken to the hospital at Lindley 4, but despite medical aid his life could not be saved.

Investigation Under Prosecution Supervision

Police from the Department of Combating Offences Against Life and Health are handling the case, under the oversight of the Warsaw Ochota District Prosecutor’s Office.

Investigators are reconstructing the course of the night, attempting to determine what led to the young Frenchman’s death.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Uniformed officers request anyone who was near Jasna, Marszałkowska, or the Centrum 03 stop during the night of May 24‑25, or who may have information about the case, to contact them.
