Poland’s Central Cybercrime Bureau launched a nationwide “Game Over” operation in mid‑November, arresting 100 men and seizing 600,000 child sexual abuse material files.
Operation Scope and Coordination
The Central Bureau of Cybercrime (CBZC) conducted the “Game Over” operation from 17 to 21 November 2025. The action was coordinated with the Department of Cybercrime and IT of the National Prosecutor’s Office and involved prosecutors from 94 units across the country.
Specialists from the Criminal Counter‑Human Trafficking Department of the Central Criminal Police Office and police from provincial and district commands also participated.
Search Operations and Confiscated Data
CBZC officers carried out over 170 searches, seizing 1,655 devices and data carriers—including computers, phones, disks—and uncovering at least 600,000 files that could be child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Zoosexual content was also found.
During searches, some suspects were found in possession of drugs, firearms, and ammunition.
Charges and Temporary Detention
Officials charged 102 individuals, mostly with articles 202§3 and §4a of the criminal code, covering possession, distribution, and production of pedophilic content. Two suspects faced additional charges under articles 197 and 199 for rape and sexual activity.
In total, 37 of the accused were subjected to temporary detention by courts.
Notable Cases and Victim Profiles
Among the 100 arrested were five men accused of producing CSAM. A 38‑year‑old, identified as one of Poland’s top ten CSAM producers, regularly shared videos depicting his own child’s abuse on pedophile forums.
A 46‑year‑old offender is alleged to have sexually abused five children aged 3 to 9 from “friend‑family” groups and filmed activities involving a 10‑year‑old boy.
Other investigations revealed a man who encouraged a mother to have sexual intercourse with her 9‑year‑old son, and a near‑40‑year‑old who filmed the sexual exploitation of a 10‑year‑old stepdaughter.
CBZC also identified a man recording sexual content with minors he met near his home and two adolescent victims of sextortion, where groomers coerced them into sending nude photos before threatening public exposure.
Long‑Term Impact and Statistics
Across all CBZC operations to date, nearly 6,500 searches have been conducted, 477 people have faced charges, and almost 200 suspects received temporary detention. More than 2.5 million CSAM files have been seized.
The 2025 operation coincided with the International Day for the Prevention of Violence Against Children on 19 November, underscoring the bureau’s commitment to combating child exploitation.
