A poll of over 17,000 readers reveals a largely negative assessment of Polish President Karol Nawrocki’s performance since 2025.
Reader Poll Results Indicate Strong Disapproval
A recent survey conducted following President Karol Nawrocki’s announcement regarding the SAFE loan program garnered over 17,000 responses regarding his presidency.
The most significant response was a decisive negative evaluation, with 70.36% (12,521 votes) indicating a “definitely negative” opinion as of March 16, 2026.
Conversely, 17.80% (3,167 votes) expressed a “definitely positive” view, while 7.39% chose “rather negative” and 2.88% selected “rather positive.” Only 1.57% (280 voters) stated they had no opinion.
Karol Nawrocki’s Background and Career
Karol Nawrocki has served as President of Poland since 2025, having been sworn in before the National Assembly on August 6th of that year.
Prior to his presidency, Nawrocki held leadership positions in key state institutions, including directing the Museum of the Second World War in Gdańsk from 2017 to 2021 and serving as President of the Institute of National Remembrance from 2021 to 2025.
Born on March 3, 1983, in Gdańsk, Nawrocki is a historian with a doctorate in humanities, and was previously involved in local government and social activities in Gdańsk, including chairing the Siedlce District Council from 2011 to 2017.
