Presidential spokesperson Rafał Leśkiewicz informed that a meeting between President Karol Nawrocki and U.S. President Donald Trump may occur soon.
He dismissed the possibility of the meeting being related to a visit by Trump to Poland.
Leśkiewicz’s Statements to WP.PL
Leśkiewicz expressed hope in a Wednesday conversation with WP.PL that “another meeting” between President Nawrocki and Donald Trump would take place “soon.” He declined to reveal details.
The Presidential Chancellery will “inform about this soon,” he announced.
Location of the Meeting
When questioned about the meeting’s location, Leśkiewicz excluded the possibility of it taking place in Poland. He emphasized that Trump will not be visiting Poland in the near future.
Trump’s Potential Visit to Poland
Discussions are also underway regarding a visit by the U.S. President to Poland, but no specific date has been set. Everything is “in a very preliminary stage of preparation.”
Previous Meetings Between Leaders
The last meeting between the leaders of Poland and the USA took place in January 2026 during the Economic Forum in Davos. Previously, in September 2025, President Nawrocki paid an official visit to the White House.
