Network Infrastructure Disrupts Train Service Between Warsaw Stations

Network damage on PKP between Warsaw Gdańska and Warsaw Zachodnia delays SKM trains by up to 30 minutes on Sunday, March 1st.

Train Service Disruptions

On Sunday, March 1st, disruptions occurred in train traffic for all operators between Warsaw Gdańska and Warsaw Zachodnia stations due to damage to the overhead contact line. SKM reports that S4 line trains in both directions may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.

Alternative Routes

Additionally, S4 train no. 11256/7 from Wieliszew (departure 16:34) to Piaseczno is traveling on a modified route via the suburban line and stopping at every station along the route from Warsaw Praga to Warsaw Zachodnia.

According to WTP: “Disruptions in SKM lines S4 and KM service. Due to damage to the overhead contact line on the Warsaw Zachodnia – Warsaw Gdańska section, there are disruptions in SKM lines S4 and KM service. Possible delays, diversions, and cancellations of services. Mutual acceptance of ZTM – KM tickets in zone I has been implemented.”
