Investigation

Investigators secured an informant in connection with the case. Police say the Family and Juvenile Department of the District Court has approved an interview with the 12‑year‑old suspect, who attends the same school as the victim.

Suspect Arrest

A 12‑year‑old girl was taken into custody after a press conference by the prosecutor’s office spokesperson on Tuesday. Deputies say they already spoke with the teenager, and a coroner will conduct an autopsy this Tuesday.

Deputy Inspector Edyta Bagrowska told TVN24 that witnesses reported seeing a fight between two girls. Prosecutor spokesperson Ewa Węglarowicz‑Makowska later noted that the girls “knew each other from sight, but were not friends.”
