On Thursday, December 4, a new medium rescue‑firefighting car arrived at the OSP Ursus volunteer fire station, funded by Warsaw city, the State Fire Service, and the “I Love Warsaw” initiative.
Arrival and Funding
A medium rescue‑firefighting vehicle was received in the evening of December 4 at the OSP Ursus volunteer fire station. The purchase was financed from the city of Warsaw’s budget, the State Fire Service’s pool, and the “I Love Warsaw” initiative, enabling the procurement of a modern apparatus.
Deployment Procedure
The vehicle will enter service after completing the necessary delivery and administrative procedures. Once fully prepared, it will be assigned to OSP Ursus’s operational fleet.
Equipment and Training
The new vehicle will be equipped with rescue equipment needed for firefighting and rescue operations. Firefighters will undergo detailed familiarisation with the vehicle’s structure, operation, and mounted equipment, covering daily use and deployment during incidents.
Commissioning and Formalities
After equipment installation and required training and technical inspection, all remaining formalities will be settled, allowing the vehicle to be officially handed over to OSP Ursus for operational use within the fire‑protection system.
