From Friday 7 November, Warsaw road authorities will replace the Hynka street surface, causing a week‑long series of closures, lane reductions and detours until 14 November.
Hynka Road Surface Replacement
Work begins Friday 7 November at 22:00 and finishes Friday 14 November at 22:00, closing the lane toward Łopuszańska from Żwirki i Wigury to Krakowska Avenue.
Single Lane in Both Directions
Drivers will travel in one lane each way toward Żwirki i Wigury, with a speed limit of 40 km/h.
Access Restrictions
From the Mokotów side, access to Hynka is only possible from the Sasanki viaduct; the entrance from Żwirki i Wigury will be closed. No access will be available from transverse roads such as the parking, gas station, Sabały and Radarowa from Lechicka. Drivers will return to the main lane at Flis. Those coming from Chopin Airport may turn back at Hynka. One lane toward Grójecka will be closed at the Krakowska intersection.
Pedestrian and Crosswalk Closures
Crosswalks at Hynka near Żwirki i Wigury and Krakowska Avenue remain closed; pedestrians will be directed to crossings on the opposite side of both intersections. The zebra crossing at Radarowa will remain open during work breaks.
Detours for Disruptions
Detours start on Żwirki i Wigury to 1 August or Komitet Obrony Robotników. From Rzymowski, drivers may turn onto Cybernetyka and go straight to Komitet Obrony Robotników. The recommended detour follows Alej Jerozolimskich south bypass to Marinyarski.
Buses Alternate Routes
Lines 141, 189 and 401 heading to P+R Krakowska Avenue, Górczewska Estate and Ursus Niedźwiadek will turn onto Żwirki i Wigury, then Komitet Obrony Robotników to Krakowska Avenue, returning to their usual routes. All 401 services will not have shortened trips.
