The autopsy of Katarzyna Stoparczyk, who died in a car accident on September 5th in Jeżowe, indicated she died of internal multi-organ injuries.
Autopsy Conducted in Kraków
The autopsy of the victims from the accident in Jeżowe took place on Tuesday (September 9) at the Forensic Medicine Institute in Kraków. According to initial opinions from the experts, Katarzyna Stoparczyk, a passenger in a black Skoda Octavia, died from internal multi-organ injuries. The second victim, 57-year-old Jerzy Ch., the passenger in a white Skoda Scala, died from a head and brain injury.
Investigation Launched
The Procurator’s Office in Nisko has launched an investigation into the accident. According to preliminary findings, on September 5, 2025 around 14:45, the driver of a Skoda Octavia, a 29-year-old resident of Nisko Rafał S., collided with the rear of a Skoda Scala driven by a 61-year-old Rzeszów resident, Witold K. Both vehicles were secured for further investigation on a guarded parking lot.
Next Steps
Witnesses are being questioned, and evidence is being gathered. Said the local prosecutor: “We are collecting all information and evidence that will allow us to explain the causes and circumstances of this tragic event.” In addition, blood from the driver of the white Skoda Scala is being collected and will be tested for alcohol content.
