Comprehensive Renovation

The construction crew will remove all layers of the road from Żołnierska to Ilskiego and repair the base in several spots. They will also replace curbs from Płatnerska to Ilskiego. A reinforcing mesh will be laid before the final asphalt layers to ensure a long‑lasting result.

Total Closure of Marsa

The works start Friday, August 22, at 10:00 p.m., and the street will close from Żołnierska to Ilskiego. The site will be split into two sections so that Suflerska residents can reach their homes via Płatnerska and Ilskiego.

Access to garages, the military unit, and the PGE office on Marsa will remain possible as construction progresses.

Detours from Gocławka will follow Żołnierska, Strażacka, Zesłańców Polskich, Curlików, and Marsa. From Akademii Sztuki Wojennej, drivers will take Chruściel „Montera” Avenue to Strażacka and Żołnierska.

The contractor says all work on Marsa will finish by the last day in August.

Bus Routes on Detours

Line 183 buses will not operate. A replacement line Z83 will run from the Zielona loop and travel via Brata Albrechta, Wspólną, Szosową, Grzybową, Komandosów, Ilskiego, and Marsa to Warsaw Remberów railway station, where passengers can transfer to Szybka Kolej Miejska and Koleje Mazowieckie trains.

Buses of lines 514, N21, and N71 will change routes. Starting Saturday, August 23, line 514 will divert onto Marsa, Cyrulików, Chruściel „Montera” Avenue, Strażacka, and Żołnierska. Night lines N21 (toward Central Station) and N71 (toward Wola Grzybowska) will, from the beginning of service from 22 to 23 August, travel via Okularowa, Stepowa, and Korkowa.

Project Timeline

The contractor has announced that completion of all work on Marsa will be by the end of August.
