A recent IBRiS survey released by Rzeczpospolita finds the Civic Coalition still tops the table at 30.4%, while PiS falls to 27.1%, with the poll run on 21–22 November.
Civic Coalition Leads the Pack
The latest IBRiS poll, conducted for Rzeczpospolita on 21‑22 November, shows the Civic Coalition with 30.4% support, unchanged from October. It remains the largest party ahead of any other grouping.
PiS Sees a Slight Decline
Prawa i Sprawiedliwość trails at 27.1%, down 0.5 percentage points from the previous survey. This marks its lowest level since Kaczyński first entered parliament in 1993.
Minor Parties Miss the Threshold
Poland’s Left gains 7.2% and Confederation of the Polish Crown 5.1% – both below the threshold for representation. Parties such as Partia Razem (3.9%), Polskie Stronnictwo Ludowe (3.2%) and Polska 2050 (1.7%) also fail to reach the 5% cut‑off. Around 5.2% of respondents expressed uncertainty about who they would vote for; projected turnout would be 58%.
Nawrocki‑EU Debate Sparks Government Friction
Minister Karol Nawrocki, during a Prague visit, urged Poland to abandon the European Council Presidency proposal and warned against EU centralisation. Radosław Sikorski, the foreign minister, responded that the Council of Ministers has not authorised the president to make treaty‑change proposals, and that foreign policy decisions rest with the government. Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński added that the president may not present himself as speaking on Polish behalf without government consent.
