The “Moje boisko – Orlik 2012” sports complex in Minsk Mazowiecki has been fully upgraded, with new turf, LED lighting, and renovated changing rooms, and opened with a ZSE team victory in a penalty shootout.
Comprehensive Modernization of the Orlik Complex
The sports complex “Moje boisko – Orlik 2012” attached to the Economic Schools Group in Minsk Mazowiecki (Kazikowskiego 18) underwent a full overhaul. Both playing fields and their support facilities were upgraded, and the venue was handed over for use by students and residents.
New Turf and Multi‑Sport Surface Renovation
The football pitch received synthetic grass, with fresh line markings. The multipurpose court used for handball, volleyball and basketball was resurfaced with polyurethane, giving the floor better grip after cleaning.
LED Lighting and Facility Refurbishment
Old lighting fixtures were replaced with energy‑efficient LED panels. The changing‑room building was rebuilt and renovated, including the roof structure and window openings.
Structural Repairs and Interior Finishes
Damp damage had caused the demolition of damaged floor, wall and ceiling framing elements and thermal insulation. New wall, floor and ceiling cladding was installed, and the exterior façade was refreshed with new paint.
Project Funding and Completion
The work cost 1 177 602 PLN gross. Half a million PLN came from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism’s “Moje boisko – Orlik 2012” sports‑complex upgrade programme. The contractor was AK Sport Andrzej Gniado. The handover was conducted by Deputy County Head Urszula Pacyga with Piotr Ładno and Damian Kacprowicz.
Inaugural Match and Community Use
The opening was marked by a football game in which the Municipality’s team from Minsk Mazowiecki drew 2‑2 with the ZSE employees’ squad, and ZSE prevailed in the penalty shootout. Students of ZSE and local residents now have access to the renovated complex.
