Fire erupted late Friday at a hall on Drużbacka Street in Izabelinie-Dziekanówku, drawing seven fire department units.
Response Mobilized
The fire was reported at 11:20 PM on Friday, March 6th. Firefighters from JRG Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and OSP units from Łomna, Czosnów, Leoncin, and Krogulec responded, alongside police. Operations concluded at 3:22 AM on Saturday, March 7th.
Fire Containment
Upon arrival, firefighters found the hall’s attic ablaze with heavy smoke filling the roof and upper structure. They began extinguishing the fire and secured the building to prevent the spread to the entire hall.
Water was applied both inside the structure and onto the roof using a mechanical ladder.
Post-Fire Operations
After extinguishing the blaze, the building was cleared of smoke. Thermal imaging cameras and sensors were used for inspection. Firefighters also conducted demolition of damaged attic and roof elements.
Damage Assessment
No injuries were reported. The fire damaged approximately 150 square meters of the roof and attic. The entire firefighting operation lasted nearly four and a half hours.
