Norway Joins Poland in Unanimous Decision Regarding Epstein Affair

Norway and Poland establish investigative teams to examine connections to Jeffrey Epstein amid mounting political pressure.

Norway Establishes Epstein Investigation

The Standing Committee on Scrutiny and Constitutional Affairs of Norway’s parliament unanimously supported creating an independent commission to investigate the relationship between Norway’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Jeffrey Epstein following new US document disclosures.

Norway’s economic crime unit, Økokrim, has initiated criminal proceedings against several prominent figures, including former Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland, suspected of corruption, and former Ambassador Mona Juul and her husband Terje Rød-Larsen, who are being investigated for complicity in crimes and abuse.

Documents from the US Department of Justice reveal that Juul and Rød-Larsen maintained long-term contacts with the American financier accused of pedophilia. Norway’s economic crime police have also launched an investigation against the former Chairman of the Nobel Committee on corruption charges.

Political Pressure Mounts

Beyond formal investigations, political and social pressure is growing in Norway to clarify Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s connections to Epstein. Politicians and public organizations are demanding full transparency regarding her contacts with the convicted criminal.

Poland Forms Epstein Investigation Team

Poland is creating a government analytical team to investigate potential Polish connections in the Epstein pedophilia scandal. Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the formation of the team, which will include prosecutors, security officials, and police officers.

The commission will be chaired by Minister of Justice and Attorney General Waldemar Żurek, who stated he is coordinating with Coordinator of Special Services Tomasz Siemoniak and Minister of Internal Affairs Marcin Kierwiński on this matter.
