Daniel Obajtek Arrives Late to Panel on Economy and Infrastructure

Former Orlen CEO Daniel Obajtek missed his scheduled panel on economic and infrastructure development, saying he would “join shortly” after a phone call that he was delayed by other duties. He joined the room with a grin, joking that he had been “attacked by the TV (Poland) in liquidation,” while a speaker noted, “That’s how an entrance is called.”

Kaczyński Warns Germany and France “Want to Take Poland’s State”

Party leader Jarosław Kaczyński called the conference’s opening speech “a long road that should end with a program for Poland” and accused Germany and France of attempting a legal change that would make Poland “cease to exist.” He added that Europe’s bureaucracy would see him burn, while Americans would be different.
