An 88-year-old passenger was seriously injured when an Opel driven by a 31-year-old man crashed into a tree on the road between Strachomin and Latowicz on March 2, 2026.
Accident Details
On Monday, March 2, 2026, at 9:10 AM, a serious traffic accident occurred on the road between Strachomin and Latowicz (powiat miński), where a passenger car collided with a tree.
Preliminary findings indicate that the 31-year-old driver of the Opel was traveling from Strachomin toward Latowicz when, for reasons not yet determined, he veered off the roadway and struck a roadside tree.
The vehicle contained two occupants: the driver and an 88-year-old passenger. It was the senior who sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Emergency Response
The injured elderly man was transported in serious condition to the hospital by helicopter of Lotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe (LPR). The driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Firefighting crews, medical rescue teams, the LPR helicopter crew (Ratownik 19), and police responded to the scene of the accident.
Investigation Underway
The driver was found to be sober and possessed the required driving licenses. Ongoing activities aim to establish the exact causes and circumstances of the incident.
