Hungarian opposition leader Tisza Péter Magyar awaits leaked sex tape, accusing Fidesz of Russian-style blackmail.
Magyar ‘awaits’ sex tape leak
Opposition party leader Tisza Péter Magyar wrote Tuesday (February 10): “I suspect they plan to publicize a video, recorded with special services equipment and likely doctored, showing me and my girlfriend having sex.” The same day, Radnaimark.hu posted a photo of a room and bed with the caption: “coming soon.”
Orban’s opponent attended party
Two days later, Magyar published a recording about an August 2024 incident when Tisza organized a summer party for supporters. His then-girlfriend, Evelin Vogel, attended. Though no longer a couple, Magyar said he “succumbed” and accepted her invitation to a private meeting. Upon arrival, he noticed alcohol and a drug-like substance on the table but assured he didn’t take any. The politician and Vogel went to a room, where they spent the night together.
Political blackmail?
The Hungarian opposition vowed not to be intimidated or blackmailed. “I don’t know how images and illegally recorded audio from the apartment, using special services equipment, will be manipulated later,” he said, comparing the organizers’ methods to those of “Russian special services.” Fidesz’s communications director, Tamás Menczer, told 444 agency that Fidesz has no connection to Radnaimark.hu or its content.
