The Pentagon warned Iran on Thursday that U.S. forces may resume military action, including bombing energy infrastructure, if Tehran doesn’t reach an agreement.
Pentagon Issues Warning to Iran
Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth addressed Iran on Thursday, urging the country to “choose wisely” and reach an agreement. Otherwise, U.S. forces will resume military action, including strikes on energy infrastructure, he threatened.
“If Iran chooses badly, they will have a blockade and bombs falling on infrastructure and energy,” Hegseth stated at a press conference at the Pentagon.
Iran’s Military Capabilities
Hegseth acknowledged that the U.S. is observing Iran “digging up” missiles and launchers. He noted that Iran lacks the capacity to produce new weaponry.
