Individuals with disabilities in Poland have until March 31, 2026, to apply for PFRON funding for adapted vehicle purchases.
Last Chance for PFRON Automotive Funding in 2026
Individuals with disabilities planning to purchase a vehicle adapted to their needs have a final opportunity to benefit from the program funded by the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (PFRON). Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
Funding Details: New and Used Vehicles
PFRON has allocated 50 million PLN for the seventh edition of the program. These funds can be used for both new and used vehicles adapted to the needs of the driver or passenger with a disability. The vehicle must allow entry and continued travel without requiring transfer from a wheelchair.
How to Apply for Automotive Funding
Applications can be submitted through the Support Service System (SOW). Alternatively, an application can be submitted at a PFRON branch with the assistance of a Fund employee.
Eligible Funding Expenses
The program provides support for the purchase of both new and used passenger cars adapted to the needs of a person with a disability.
Eligibility Criteria for PFRON Support in 2026
Funding is intended for individuals who meet the program’s specific requirements.
Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM. After this deadline, applications will not be accepted for this round. Interested individuals should prepare their documents and register in the SOW system as soon as possible.
Ranking and Funding Allocation
After the application period closes, each PFRON branch will create a ranking list based on points awarded for meeting specific criteria. Higher scores increase the chance of receiving funding.
Tiebreakers and Funding Exhaustion
If multiple applications receive the same score, the order is determined by the date and time of submission. Funding is awarded according to the ranking list until available funds are exhausted at the PFRON branch.
Rejected Applications
PFRON’s decision is final. However, if an application is rejected, it can be resubmitted in the next round. Applicants will receive notification of the result – positive or negative – with justification, via the SOW system within 45 days of the application period’s end.
