PiS Leader Kaczyński Creates Blacklist of Rebellious Party Members

Jarosław Kaczyński is compiling a blacklist to suspend party members who publicly attack each other, amid rising internal conflicts and declining poll ratings.

Kaczyński’s Blacklist

Despite Jarosław Kaczyński’s warning of suspension for infighting, many PiS politicians have continued public feuds. With help from Mariusz Błaszczak and Joachim Brudziński, the PiS leader is now creating a blacklist. A close aide stated there will be no “sacred cows,” and even once-loyal members could face consequences, as infighting harms the party’s poll numbers.

Notable Names on the List

According to “Super Express,” Michał Dworczyk is on the blacklist after receiving prior warnings for public criticism. His absence from a Stalowa Wola panel signals his diminished standing. Jacek Kurski narrowly avoided suspension earlier for criticizing Mateusz Morawiecki after intense lobbying. Sebastian Kalet faces potential risk for abruptly cutting off Ryszard Terlecki during an interview, prompting a “scumbag” response from Terlecki.

Structural Problems in PiS

PiS faces its lowest poll support in years (22.7% in a United Surveys poll), with Karol Nawrocki’s unexpected presidential victory failing to address long-term issues. Political scientist Rafał Chwedoruk notes unresolved structural problems, including an aging electorate, evolving communication dynamics, and a succession crisis. The party is further strained by Zbigniew Ziobro and Marcin Romanowski’s absence in Hungary, and internal factions like “scouts” and “beehive” members.
