A recent United Surveys poll reveals that Aleksander Kwa\u015bniewski is considered the most trusted Polish president since 1989, securing a massive lead of 42.5 percent over all his successors.<\/p>\n
In a survey commissioned by Wirtualna Polska, respondents were asked which president of the Third Polish Republic they trusted most. The results show Aleksander Kwa\u015bniewski, who served from 1995 to 2005, dominating the field with 42.5 percent of the vote.<\/p>\n
Lech Kaczy\u0144ski placed second with 14.8 percent, closely followed by the current president, Karol Nawrocki, at 14.3 percent\u2014a difference falling within the margin of error. Bronis\u0142aw Komorowski secured 6.2 percent, while Lech Wa\u0142\u0119sa received 4.1 percent.<\/p>\n
Andrzej Duda, with 2.4 percent, and Wojciech Jaruzelski, with 0.2 percent, rounded out the bottom of the list. Furthermore, 6.7 percent of respondents stated they trust none of the former presidents, and 8.8 percent remained undecided.<\/p>\n
The study was conducted by United Surveys for IBRiS between June 12 and 14, 2026. It utilized a representative sample of 1,000 Polish citizens through a mix-mode approach, combining computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) and online (CAWI) surveys.<\/p>\n
Separate polling by IBRiS indicates that 51.7 percent of Poles view President Karol Nawrocki\u2019s performance positively, an increase of 3.6 percentage points since the end of May. Negative appraisals dropped by 9 percentage points, with 38.9 percent of respondents expressing dissatisfaction.<\/p>\n
Nawrocki also leads current IBRiS trust rankings with 54.8 percent support, the highest figure in the history of such surveys. He currently holds a 14.2 percentage point lead over the second-place official, Foreign Minister Rados\u0142aw Sikorski.<\/p>\n
