During the transport of an oversized wind turbine component, the cargo\u2019s securing system failed, causing the load to drop and obstructing the exit to the Rzesz\u00f3w-Wsch\u00f3d junction.<\/p>\n<h4>Traffic Disruption and Infrastructure Damage<\/h4>\n<p>The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) confirmed the component fell at the 580th kilometer of the A4 in Terliczka, between the Rzesz\u00f3w P\u00f3\u0142noc and Rzesz\u00f3w Wsch\u00f3d junctions. Both lanes toward Korczowa are blocked, with traffic currently being diverted through an emergency lane. The S19\/DK97 exit at Rzesz\u00f3w Wsch\u00f3d is also impassable for those traveling toward Korczowa.<\/p>\n<h4>Long-Term Traffic Restrictions<\/h4>\n<p>While no injuries were reported, the accident resulted in damage to road infrastructure. GDDKiA estimates that removal operations could take up to 15 hours, with plans for a total closure of the A4 to be announced in advance.
