Jaki is currently facing the potential lifting of his parliamentary immunity. On June 2, the Prosecutor General submitted a request to the European Parliament for consent to hold the MEP criminally liable and for his detention and forced appearance.<\/p>\n
Investigators allege that Jaki exceeded his authority and failed to fulfill his duties while serving as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice.
