A driver and passenger fled on foot early Monday morning after driving their Skoda onto tram tracks at Plac Grunwaldzki in Warsaw, forcing emergency services to clear the line. <\/p>\n
On Monday, July 13, at approximately 1:20 AM, an unusual traffic incident occurred at Plac Grunwaldzki, near the intersection of Broniewskiego Street and Jana Pawla II Avenue in Warsaw’s Zoliborz district.<\/p>\n
Preliminary findings indicate the Skoda was traveling toward the city center when it veered off the road for unknown reasons. The vehicle entered the separated tram tracks and became lodged in the ballast between the rails.<\/p>\n
Following the crash, both the driver and the passenger exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot instead of waiting for authorities. It remains unclear why they chose to run or whether either individual sustained injuries.<\/p>\n
