Around 2:40 a.m., 17-year-old Micha\u0142 G. lost control of his Volkswagen Passat, veering off the road and striking a tree.<\/p>\n<p>The driver was found to have a blood alcohol concentration of 0.44 per mille. He was unlicensed, and the vehicle lacked a valid technical inspection. Micha\u0142 G. sustained only a hand injury.<\/p>\n<h4>Emergency Response and Victim Toll<\/h4>\n<p>Two teenage girls, aged 16 and 17, died at the scene. Wejherowo firefighters reported that the passengers were unresponsive upon arrival; one victim had to be extracted from the vehicle using hydraulic equipment.<\/p>\n<h4>Court Verdict and Sentencing<\/h4>\n<p>Micha\u0142 G. admitted to the charges but provided inconsistent explanations during the proceedings. On July 14, the District Court in Wejherowo sentenced him to five years in prison and a ten-year driving ban.<\/p>\n<p>The court extended the defendant&#8217;s temporary arrest until November 12, 2026.
