Foreign documents confirming marriage or death issued in EU, EFTA, or UK jurisdictions will now be accepted without the need for official Polish translation. This expansion builds upon the existing successful practice of accepting foreign birth certificates for maternity benefits.<\/p>\n
The requirement to submit birth certificate copies when ZUS is the payer is also being abolished. ZUS will now obtain these records directly via network services, requiring applicants only to provide specific personal data for verification.<\/p>\n
The Z-3b certificate obligation for business owners, cooperating persons, and clergy is officially removed. Claims will now rely solely on the benefit application form, significantly reducing the administrative burden on self-employed individuals.<\/p>\n
New provisions have also been introduced for sailors and soldiers. For soldiers released from active service, the documentation process for sickness benefits has been clarified, requiring only a formal statement and proof of military service discharge.<\/p>\n
